About Coach

Names Luiz Rodriguez. I’m 28 yes old and have been doing CrossFit for 4 years now. I am married and workout next to my wife. MY journey to CrossFit started when I was at my job watching espn on my break. They had highlights of the CrossFit games on and I was so entertained and interested in what those athletes were doing that I googled and found my first CrossFit box. I attended the on ramp class and was immediately hooked. Even though the workouts were good, that wasn’t what got me to stay. Here I was in a group setting were the person next to me is breathing just as hard as me with a smile on there face. The community of CrossFit is what got me hooked. Growing up I’ve learned that nothing is more satisfying than hard work. With that mentality I come to the gym and give my all to the gym. This has helped me to motivate my fellow classmates and would motivate me to attend the level one course and become a coach. As a coach I love to push my classes passed their limits. I try to show them they are capable of more than what they think. All while creating a fun atmosphere. I’m the type of person who will do a workout with you just because you asked me too. You want a training partner? I’m your guy! You want someone whose gonna motivate you? I’m your guy! CrossFit is community based! Now let’s suffer together!

Motivation & Passion

My purpose for coaching has to be that I enjoy teaching others what I know. It’s such a great feeling when another member asks you to demo a movement or help them get better at something. I coach to not only improve my skills but to improve every members as well. I want you to be the healthiest you can be so life could be more enjoyable. CrossFit is the sport of fitness and I enjoy helping those who want to improve their numbers. I like pushing people to get an extra rep, or add on a few extra pounds to their squat. I also enjoy helping those who do CrossFit to live. By that I mean helping those people get in better shape so they can enjoy a hike, or playing with their kids without getting tired. Seeing people evolve and get fitter is what motivates me to coach.
