The KENAZ Kids' Club program is for kids 6-12 years old, and the KENAZ Teen Titans program is for young adults ages 13-16 years old.
It is designed to keep kids active and healthy while heightening their physical ability in a safe, caring, and fun environment. We focus on developing their coordination, social skills, and self-confidence through physical activity and learning new skills. It is also for kids who want to participate in recreational physical activity and have no desire to compete or play sports (yet).
Workout Brief Before each class we have a workout brief. During this time we discuss the workout and focus on the “why” for the workout. We want kids to understand the importance and goal for the workout.
Stretching and Warm-up
Every class we will go through our daily stretching and warm-up routine specific to the movements within the workout.
Skill and Fundamental Practice
Our skill and fundamental practice focuses on giving kids the opportunity to develop targeted skills for the day. During this time we practice and develop movement patterns, such as pull-ups, handstands, push-ups, squats, and lifting techniques (minimal to no weights).
Workout of the Day (WOD)
The workout is designed to keep kids moving through a 6-10 minute workout where we incorporate movements worked on during our skill and fundamental practice. All kids start and finish the workout at the same time so that no kid feels left out.
